Course description

The ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) course will introduce you to the fundamental principles of modern IT service management, digital products and value streams. You will gain an overview of how ITIL helps organizations better design, deliver, support and continuously improve services so that they bring real value to customers and the business.

Compared to ITIL 4, the new version places greater emphasis on digital products and services, artificial intelligence, value stream management, data-driven decision-making and connecting IT with the business. Instead of just memorizing concepts, the course focuses on understanding the context, practical application of ITIL principles and preparation for the certification exam.

The teaching combines theory, practical examples and preparation for the exam. Thanks to this, you will not only gain the necessary knowledge for certification, but also a clearer idea of ​​​​how ITIL can be used in a real organizational environment.

  • Introduction to ITIL Foundation Version 5,
  • Key concepts and definitions,
  • Digital products and services,
  • Four dimensions of service management,
  • Value creation and relationships between services.
Day 2: Value system, value chain and improvement
  • ITIL Service Value System,
  • Basic principles of ITIL,
  • Governance and value chain,
  • Management practices,
  • Continuous improvement model.
Day 3: Value stream, AI and exam preparation
  • Value stream mapping and value stream management,
  • AI, automation and modern technologies in ITIL,
  • Relationship to DevOps and PRINCE2®,
  • Review of key topics,
  • Preparation for the certification exam.
