A DevOps engineer connects development and operations so that new applications and services are created faster, more stably and with fewer errors - from infrastructure automation to containerization to CI/CD pipeline and production operation monitoring. The demand for DevOps engineers has been growing for a long time and salaries range from approximately CZK 55,000-80,000 for junior positions to CZK 110,000-160,000 and higher for senior DevOps engineers. The key to progress is to gradually build knowledge. from the basics of DevOps culture through containerization and automation to monitoring and calibration of DevOps practices throughout the company. ○
