M_o_R Foundation + certification

M_o_R (Management of Risk) is a globally recognized risk management methodology administered and certified by PeopleCert. The methodology offers a structured framework for working with risks at four levels: strategic, programmatic, project and operational. It is not just theory — M_o_R defines specific principles, processes and approaches that can be used in an organization of any size.
 
The M_o_R Foundation course is the entry level of the M_o_R certification path. Over three intensive days, you will gain a solid foundation in the methodology — you will understand how risks are identified, assessed and responded to. At the same time, you will prepare for the PeopleCert certification exam, which is part of the course.
 
Passing the Foundation is also a prerequisite for the follow-up M_o_R Practitioner certification, where you focus on the practical application of the methodology in a real organizational context.

Day 1

• Introduction to M_o_R: framework structure, terminology and links to other standards
• M_o_R principles (part I.): clear guidelines, organizational goals, adaptation to the context, stakeholder involvement
• M_o_R principles (part II.): culture, measurable values, continuous improvement, information for decision-making
• M_o_R approach: management and support documentation, adapting policies to the needs of the organization

Day 2

• M_o_R Process — Identify: organization goals, evaluation metrics, stakeholder expectations
• M_o_R Process — Assess: risk prioritization, identification of the most urgent threats
• M_o_R Process — Plan and implement: measures to reduce threats, risk communication
• Integrating M_o_R: integration into the organization, measuring benefits, changing culture

Day 3

• M_o_R perspectives: strategic, programmatic, project and operational levels of risk management
• Practical application of principles across all perspectives
• Summary and recap of key methodology topics
• Preparation for the PeopleCert certification exam and final exam

After completing the M_o_R Foundation course, you will:

• Prepared for the PeopleCert M_o_R Foundation certification exam.
• Enabled to continue on the certification path to the M_o_R Practitioner level.
