What is Power BI and what is it used for?
Power BI is a Microsoft tool for data analysis and creating interactive reports and dashboards. It lets you connect data from various sources (Excel, databases, cloud services), turn it into clear visualizations, and easily share it with colleagues.

Do I need to purchase a Power BI licence before the course?
No. You do not need a paid or free licence to complete the course. The entire course can be completed without signing in to the application.

What's the difference between Power BI and Excel?
Excel is primarily a spreadsheet tool for working with smaller-scale data, while Power BI is built for analyzing large volumes of data from multiple sources at once, with more advanced visualizations and interactive shared dashboards. Power BI also uses the DAX language for complex calculations that Excel can't handle to the same extent.

Which language interface (CZ/EN) is the course taught in? I have the English version of Power BI on my PC.
