PivotTables are basically a very effective tool, and yet they contain many secret features. You can create your own calculations in the PivotTable using calculation fields. Do you calculate the percentage expression? There is nothing easier than calculating percentages directly in the report using the built-in tool. For better telling ability, visualization can be delivered using conditional formatting.
Before creating a PivotTable, many users spend time editing the source data — joining multiple files together with the FIND function, removing duplicates and blank rows, or rewinding rows to columns to get the database form of the table. With Power Query, you can prepare the perfect data source for your PivotTable in almost one click.
