Senior leadership uses lean concepts to link strategy to execution, which is referred to as Lean Portfolio Management (LPM). You will learn how to include feedback from participatory budgeting, how to react to change while upholding your funding goal and roadmap, how to link portfolio strategy and initiatives to the agile planning and execution of work, and more. With a focus on advancing the delivery of value to consumers through the development of products and solutions, LPM's major goal is to match agile development with business strategy. LPM and agile development methodologies can be combined to increase business agility.

Course content
Participants in the SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) 6.0 course leave with the skills and knowledge required to put the Lean Portfolio Management functions of strategy and investment funding, agile portfolio operations, and lean governance into practice. A one-day "Getting Started with LPM" workshop is an additional option for this two-day event. Participants will gain knowledge on how to design and manage the portfolio, develop agile portfolio operations, and apply lean governance. They will also learn how to integrate strategy with investment funds. Senior leaders participating in Lean-Agile decision-making, portfolio managers, and enterprise architects are the target audience for the training.
