Course description
At the beginning of the course, we will explain the principles of integration tests. We will explain the basic terms - API, REST, SOAP, etc. We will also work with the SoapUI (trial) tool.
In practical examples, you will create new REST and SOAP projects. We will create tests containing assertions. We will show all possible approaches to work with variables. We will explain how to work with XPath and JSON path. We will also learn the basics of Groovy scripts.
Target audience
The training is intended for integration testing beginners who have no experience with the SoapUI tool. Basic knowledge of test methodology and practical experience with testing is a prerequisite.
Objectives
After completing the training, you will be able to independently prepare, run and evaluate tests using SoapUI.
